In Washington my grandma had earthquake insurance but it only covered stuff if there was a fire as a result of an earthquake so she always said she was knocking over a candle if there was an earthquake 😂

When will ppl understand that if you put a claim in your insurance is either going up or canceled by them. Soooo then you have to ask. Is it worth it to even have insurance?

I live in Baltimore Maryland. We don’t have hurricanes. I got seven years left in my mortgage trying to make it four years by paying extra money. I will never pay a dime the insurance company once my house paid off never put a claim in every year. I write that check for insurance and never get nothing in return for it.

The insurance industry is a legal Ponzi scheme. The moment a disaster hits they run out of funds and are unable to cover all the policy holders while continuing to increase premiums every year

I'm in Texas and mine just went to $6800 yearly. Once mine is paid off, I may just do this. BTW. I have not had a claim since 2008.. You can't even inquiry.. that goes as a claim now.

Smart move no premiums paid if you don’t get hit you good. If you get hit apply for a 3% SBA Disaster Loan. The loan may not be needed but if so the payment is less than the insurance premium.

Unfortunately if you have a mortgage you have to have insurance. If you drop it, tur mortgage company will provide insurance and still escrow it and from what ai hear, its a lot more expensive

Nothing new. But it's a choice with a high risk value. Watched a friend lose 750k house. Thought insurance was too expensive. Insurance is worth every penny.
