My daughter broke her femur racing and they encouraged her to walk on it leaving the hospital. She was cleared to ride the bike on day 13 with no jumping or racing. Day 24 cleared for jumps! Heal up kid💪 💪

Broke my femur on a dirtbike too and the nurse had me (attempt to) walk laps in the hospital literally the morning after surgery 😂 some people hahahah

Also, she definitely isn’t familiar with moto people because these moto kids and racers in general. We are a resilient and tough group of people. These kids cannot be held down period unless they’re unconscious and even then they’ll still try to get up 😂 you got this Mav 💪🏼

Broke my femur, they legit made me walk on it and put pressure morning after surgery. Better to move it! I was back to work in no time.

I had an ACL/MCL reconstruction and double menisecromy and had no weight restrictions. The science has definitely changed and every case/protocol is unique! Hope he’s back to it soon 🙏🏻

Coming from a guy who broke both femurs at same time, I was in fact up and standing the day after and then attempting to walk two days after surgery

I just broke my femur Saturday morning and got surgery Sunday at noon and I just too my first steps and it’s crazy how well the surgery is and how fast it works and I can put weight on it just not all but bare minimum and I’m so thankful to be able to walk so quick

That person has no idea. Had me walking after putting a rod in my femur. Also that was one of the requirements to go home was to walk so far.

wow! just wow. please do research before speaking. I shredded my ACL they had me walking the day of my surgery. my friend broke both legs. put rods in both, had his bearing weight day one with assistance.

Bubby G couldn’t bear weight on his break for a while after the nails were put in but from what i understand it just depends on the type of break and of course every Dr is different. As it healed he could slowly start increasing the weight on it. I think it’s great that they have Mav standing. Ignore the negativity. You’re an amazing mom to those kiddos! Prayers for a speedy recovery so bro can get back to braaapin!! We’re rooting for you kiddo! ❤️

Broke my femur and 4 hours after surgery I was up walking around with a walker. Also I was full weight bearing right out of surgery. Hope he gets better and has a quick recovery

I am going to assume that this Allison individual is not a mama. Your following doctors orders who actually know what they are doing and how to treat his injury. But to the hysterical comment is completely ridiculous - he’s YOUR SON who you were blessed to grow from tiny cells and raise for the last 10 years - who just experienced a serious/very painful injury - what the actual… 😳

I had back surgery I have two rods and four screws and a spacer in my back it was 4 and half hour surgery they had me up and walking that same day
