I do this all the time. Trust me it works. I double buff. Once before alcohol pad, and then after. And I heat before putting the nail on, and heat after I put the nail on. For a long time, like my fingers on fire, burning kinda heat. Only problem is, when I take them off a week later, my fingers nails feel brittle :(
