trying to lose weight when you have PCOS is a freaking nightmare! it is disheartening because sometimes no matter how much diet or exercise you do, the weight won't come off...it's persistent. but it's possible, just a much much longer road... thank you for representing that in this 💜😭

I went from a size of unhealthy to a fluffy size of unhealthy. I declared to live for me... and if my body says to eat cake i will, the same as if it said to eat beans. I eat a LOT of fruits. at least once a day. im 260 and 5.2 I love my body... even if I cant remember how I look (I cant remember how most people look. if I see someone I see everyday I will still think "who is this" before the wires cross lol

This seems about right as ED Survivor representation at least to me, the i'm just bones and people compliment but once I get a bit of visible fat after being healthy back up now people are all up in arms, I feel that very much

Hey! I really appreciate how you’re always thoughtful with social issues (and I seriously love your sketches!). Just wanted to say — the part where Bob suggests turning someone fat as a curse felt a bit off. I get the idea of making someone “feel what they’ve done to others,” but it kinda implies that being fat is something bad or shameful, and that shouldn’t be the message. Maybe Bob could’ve said something like, “I could make you feel what it’s like to be judged for your body — but being fat isn’t a curse. The real curse is how people treat you because of it.” That would’ve hit harder and still kept the message strong. Just sharing with love — I know your intention was good as always 💜

I once had a family, the dad started & the mom & kid laughed along, make fun of me, my siblings, & even my NEPHEW who wasn’t even THREE but was a BIG kid at a restaurant we were at. My response was, “if you need to make fun of others to make yourself feel better, that says more about you than me.” I then looked at the wife & said “& what makes you think if you gain one extra pound he won’t cheat on you or just dump you?” Added bonus, the dad was plus size as well 🙃
