When ivo was thinking about proposing, he sent me a message and I knew just through his inquiry that he had thought through every conceivable detail for his proposal to Kate. Here are some things you want to consider when you’re proposing: - your partner’s desires (private / public? What would they want to wear, would they want their nails done? Clothes they’d want to be wearing?) - avoid crowded locations, so that if you have a specific spot in mind, you’re not competing for space - consider whether a photographer is right for you (I mean, you should! But many people prefer private proposals and for it to be a shared memory just between them!) - act with intention and don’t stress on perfection: no need for a script but speak from the heart and why you’re excited to spend your life with them - practice your stance! You want your legs at 90° - don’t forget to ask the question “will you marry me?” And if you’re looking for a photographer, send me a DM.
