In my opinion, heaven can wait starting Warren Beatty and Julie. Christie is the best movie of all time. Totally worth the watch. Jaw is number two for me. Fantastic acting, writing, and the best dialogue ever

ELVIS: Baz Luhrmann was the perfect director to capture the whirlwind and fever like-dream that was the career of Elvis Presley, a career that was an array of hysteria, controversy, and comebacks. Austin Butler embodied Elvis over three decades, on and off the concert stage, with different emotions and various performance styles, of the man who changed popular music by fusing his multi cultural upbringings of Tupelo and Memphis, of white Smaltz and Country and black R& and Gospel, and he made Elvis a real person, not a caricature, or just an image. The cinematography is gorgeous, the costume design and production design are phenomenal and spot on, and the hair and makeup styling are great.

I honestly think Jaws would not have been as popular if that mechanical shark had worked flawlessly. The creativity of working around that problem stirred the imagination of millions. Also, the 3 distinct characters confined on a boat while their lives were in danger… Created such intensity. I’ve seen the movie too much and I’m still in love with it! 🦈

Jaws is absolutely my favorite. The characters, storytelling, and direction + the shift/transitions in characters. It’s incredible. Lots of humor to lift up from the suspense. Laugh then scream then vice versa. It’s a masterpiece
