Correct, it's not slimy, but the adhesive is almost impossible to get off of the gums at the end of the day after you remove the dentures. It's expensive compared to the OTC brands. The consistency , color and taste is comparable to Poligrip power max 12hr hold. The poligrip max is much easier to clean off of the gums. IMHO
