Hi! This issue should be fixed now, we're really sorry people had to experience this. it appears this is an issue with a lot of different Steam games, including Valve's own, where people can join by searching up your profile if it was public. People then figured out how to bypass the steam setting so we immediately investigated. A patch was pushed yesterday to fix this issue but if anyone has this happen again, please reach out to us through our support email - I really wanna reiterate that we're a small team but we jumped on this as soon as we were made aware of it ❤️

Hey so it’s not malicious the person just has mods installed the same thing goes with there other game content warning if someone joins you who has mods installed they can be used even no one else as them the devs are working on it there response was good there was no blame they said they are working on a fix and offered you a temporary solution till they can get it fixed up and if your having problems turn your lobby’s to friends only and they won’t be able to join and make sure everyone plays on private wail streaming it’s a temp fix but there working on it

but for them to join through steam wouldn't they have to know your steam name and be on your friends list to join? but yeah it does look like they are blaming the players for not having their steam on private. it's like they can't take any accountability for their game being broken and messed up.

i loved streaming webfishing, it was a genuinely good game to just reflex to after a long day and just yap on stream. I had incidents happen on stream and felt the same way you do, uncomfortable, and just dropped the game all together.

i get there’s only so much can control over who watches you. but 100% a community issue and who watches you what you bring in. seen the biggest streamers on twitch not have any problems w this over multiple days multiple streams
