This weekend I’m 3 months seizure free, I’m half way there. Here we come October!! By the time I can drive again it will be exactly one years since I’ve driven and I’m not letting a single thing stop me from getting there again

When you say “got lifted” do you mean they didn’t take your license away?! Only let you wait 6-8 months before you can drive again?! I was told if I get a seizure I’d have to go through the process again :/

That is so great for you!! My daughter is 21 and has epilepsy. She hasn’t been able to drive the last 2 years. She is on a lot of meds and actually had brain surgery to get the RNS. Not being able to drive really takes a toll on her. It’s sad. So, I see you!! AND CONGRATS!!!

My mom has had two random seizures within two months and she is now on six months of no driving and she is only two weeks in and already is filling the guilt. Obviously I don’t mind driving her anywhere she needs🥹🥹❤️

im 29 and ive never been able to drive myself. however non epileptics never know how this strips your independence along with the "what if i get one"
