Because why did they start at the scalp and get it all tangled instead of the ends, and pull on the brush so hard you'd got a free face lift. That's why GenX still looks so young today and none of us are tender headed.

oh man did I hate getting my hair brushed. she would be holding the top of my head trying to brush the knots out like it wasn't attached to my scalp telling me not to cry it doesn't hurt.
