@jonny.goodday: Spiral of Gratitude | Dallas’s Hidden Oasis at Thanksgiving Square. Tucked between the glass towers of downtown Dallas is a sunken garden, a whispering waterfall, and a spiral chapel lit by one of the world’s largest stained glass ceilings. Thanksgiving Square opened in 1976 as an inter faith monument to gratitude, designed by architect Philip Johnson and glass artist Gabriel Loire. In five minutes we trace its 1960s vision, the sunken-garden design that mutes city noise, the physics-defying “Glory Window,” and the Square’s ongoing plans to link with Dallas’s newest green corridors. Stick around to the end to hear an original track created with suno, “Glass Spiral Grace,” written just for this film. #fyp #Dallas #ThanksgivingSquare #HiddenGems #ArchitectureTok #TravelTok #UrbanOasis #SpiralChapel #StainedGlass #TexasLife

I took my 1st photo of the stain glass in 1979 for High School class. It use to open up tho the underground shops/restaurants when I worked downtown in the 80/90s.

The best part of working in downtown Dallas is Thanksgiving Square. It was my favorite to visit during my lunch hour with a brown-bag lunch. ♥️💯
