At my McDonalds, we dont get AC and get a 50% discount for our lunch, with certain items excluded, we get no discount outside of work, and are constantly sent home or called in early because it all revolves around labor. Theyll send you home and call someone in 15 minutes later because labor was “too high”

as a current manager at a location in ohio, I can agree with this! a lot of these owners/operators are worried about one thing and one thing only.. THEIR money.. low labor..

today I was taking orders, doing fries, doing all the drinks, bagging and handing orders out pretty much by myself. and every person's order I took assumes I'm just standing in one spot taking their order. so not worth the money.

I work at mcdonalds currently and ill tell you what it's rough right now. and what u said is completely true. it's up to the people and their voice to help. anytime you go to a mcdonalds even for a drink. fill out that review because it really does effect the store. they get graded on those reviews.

My "boycott" of McDonald's is more about the mediocre food, high prices, and bank lobby vibe that they've inexplicably closed to embrace. Employees? They barely have any.

a couple- can sit at a restaurant be served dinner- for less $$ eating at McDonald's! Applebee's- $25. 2 dinners and an appetizer. McDonald's is like $14 meal! you choose 😬

I work as a manager at McDonald's and I can agree that the working conditions are what you have said. I find myself a lot of the time, doing multiple jobs at once and it makes it so much worse working there because I can't just be in one position.

Used to be a welcoming environment. Now you can’t refill your own drinks, nobody takes your order, and the beeps are insane. They don’t want you eating inside or getting refills. Get your food and get out.

I've worked at a McDonald's. you're absolutely correct. they also pay off the health inspection. I've seen it. walks in talks to the owner turns around Congratulations y'all. we passed

McDonald's is a factory, not a restaurant. They use to be fast and cheap, not good. Now they are slow, expensive, and not good. The branding is the only thing keeping them alive.

I make $16 an hour as a GENERAL MANAGER. I come from a low volume restaurant (Franchise) in Oklahoma. I have been in my position for 20 months and haven’t had a raise in over a year. I will not make a salary rate because “ it’s not worth having a salaried manager at such a low volume restaurant” being low volume my restaurant cannot afford a department manager to lighten the workload. (meanwhile our 6 other restaurants have a DM) I have ALL the responsibilities interviews, hiring, inventory, truck-order, pre-shift checklist, walk-thrus, follow-ups, payroll, one on ones, monthly meetings, training, managing crew, and so much more! Shift managers have so much responsibility and only make $1-1.50 more an hour than crew🤨🤨 most shifts run with 4-8 people, we are tired!!!

I worked at mcdonald's for 6 years. when I quit I was only making $0.25 over minimum wage because my raise every year was when minimum wage went up... plus I was a crew trainer training to be manager!

They lost standing with the consumer when they rolled out the app. The dollar menu was gone, the value menu is effectively gone, and if I’m spending $10-15 on a single meal then why wouldn’t I just go to an actual restaurant?
