"so, what are your thoughts about the project?" he asked, his tone now serious, the playful banter replaced by a more earnest vibe. you pulled out your notes, trying to maintain your composure despite the fluttering in your stomach, and you started discussing your ideas. he nodded, leaning forward, his attention fully on you. as you discussed ideas, you began to notice the little things—how his brow furrowed in concentration, the way he tapped his fingers lightly on the table as he thought. each moment felt charged, and you found it increasingly difficult to focus on the task at hand. after a while, he leaned back in his chair, a teasing smile creeping back onto his face. "you know, i have a better idea than that," he said. your brows furrowed because he didn't even acknowledge your idea. "so you're just gonna ignore my idea?" you said, annoyance lacing your tone. he crossed his arms and leaned back in his chair.
