Pretty sure that’s brake pads and rotors. I would just replace both at the same time but it’s up to you.

Damn they told me I needed my front drivers side caliper fixed and I haven’t found a single noise on here that sounds like mine to gauge how bad I’m at right now 😭

My car is making the exact same kind of noise and was advised to replace the brake pads!! Huhu im waiting for my new brake pads to arrive and hopefully that fixes the issue. But id be so upset if my brake pads arent faulty🙈 coz this is exactly how mine sounded. It also does this on the driver's side only!!😭

Prob the dirt shield if it does it when not braking. Simple fix, just push it back off the rotor. Look up you tube videos
