It's illegal to throw clothes away in the EU. You donate whatever is usable and either drive it to a place that accepts them as trash or use them as rags until there's more holes than material 🤷♀️

This is how I live. Funny how people will buy from MP or thrift stores though 🤣. People dump it, I clean it, stage it.. oh $$$$$$$$$

It’s not JUST “garbage picking.” It’s shopping in a frugal, economical, penny-pinching, & unwasteful manner by reusing♻️what others no longer want by preventing it from being completely destroyed in a landfill.

That’s amazing, just one thing I wouldn’t use and that’s the baby car seat. You don’t know if the car it was in was in a crash. You can’t reuse a baby seat that’s been in a car crash, at least not in Ireland. Wouldn’t risk it.

I'm Polish and over the course of 4 months I found multiple IKEA furniture in good condition in the trash. I got one Kallax bookcase, clothes rack, a nice stool for my kitchen and my most expensive find, discontinued Jonaxel bathroom shelves (those exact elements were discontinued in around 2016). recently we found 3 pairs of shoes in amazing condition. tbh most of our furniture and accessories for our house are from the trash. I even got one of those cheap bath rugs in great shape, it was pretty much like new, just had a couple stains someone was probably too lazy to try and get rid of. I soaked it in stain remover for a couple hours, washed in the highest temperature setting and it's as good as new
