This Hadith doesn’t talk about the prophet having 4 braids. It’s a Hadith about ghusl and a woman having braids, and a woman asking the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم about the ruling of ghusl after janabah. The Hadith ur talking about, is sahih Bukhari 5905 when the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم would braid his hair into 4 plaits during pilgrimage and travel.
