the red and blue stripey area was British territory for years before the manifest destiny bs and that green area known as the Alaskan pan handle was part of the Canadian territory until the yukon gold rush. the panhandle was given to the Americans because the Americans, English and Canadian colonists bad a vote unfortunately the British official that was sent didn't care about the territory and just voted for it to be american. the Canadians weren't given a choice. the panhandle is the Yukon coast not Alaskan. give us back our land ! Americans are thieves!
