@Choicetech_209: Those lil ahh umbrellas are garbage! Tried em, even with the extension, garbage! You can only use them 20% of the time you really want!!!! Wind knocks em down, very little shade to “work under”. Just trashed my last one!!! Bought 3 the last 3-4 years! Patio umbrella with zip ties now my guy, or an ez-up for big repairs!

I’ve been through 4 of them. The wind blows and it breaks. I have done some creative things with the magnets at least.

It’s a good umbrella but that is the same exact price as the supply houses are selling it for and you get it right then.

I’d recommend getting the extension pole . If you’re around 6ft tall it’s kinda hard to fit under it sometimes

Those are alright if not going to be there long, but if I'm going to be on a hot roof, working on a unit for more than a few hours, I'm taking up the 10x10 canopy. After 20 years roofing before getting into hvac, I'm going to be in the shade.

mine came off the rtu and the shaft splintered , first time I used it. not impressed with it. but the rest of the guys on my crew have had good luck.
