Infrastructure. In Nigeria we have only built 1000km of new rail tracks while the British built 3000km. We’ve been independent more than 60 years

Technology, medicine, industry, sanitisation, railroads, infrastructure, education, etc, to name a few things. However, many millions of people were slaughtered in the process. So yes, it benefited the world, but a lot of these things were not the primary objective of colonialism, and millions of innocence paid the price. We colonised because we could. I wish there was a better excuse for such cruelty but there isn't. Maybe they couldn't stand the British weather anymore so they set sail 😂
