@imjustcyrus: Do you know why companies list degrees as a requirement , when really it’s not necessary to have one for a tech job?? It’s partially because many recruiters / HR teams copy and paste job requirements from competitor companies, without actually needing everything listed. My 1st tech company listed that I needed to have a degree and know how to code. 2 things I don’t have and when I told the hiring manager & hiring team, they told me that doesn’t matter to them 😂 So do not allow job requirements to keep you from applying to a company that you believe you’re a good fit for.
