I do find it strange, considering US tends to produce and sell far larger cars than EU, it shocks me that things like a Tahoe/Suburban and Ford Explorer and Expedition and stuff like that don’t do diesel. They’d be great diesels…

My mom had a manual tdi Passat when I was growing up and if I had a nickel for every time an old man frantically told her she's putting diesel in it I'd have a lot of nickels

Why are US cars so inefficient? My 2016 vw polo 1.0 tsi with 100 hp does 1L/19 km and i drive quick. Its like 45 MPG.

We’ve gotten a few midsize diesels trucks. Ford F150 Platinum. It came with a 3.0L Powerstroke motor. We also got a Chevy Colorado Z71. It came with a 2.8L Duramax Diesel.

For midsize trucks, the second gen Colorado and Canyon (GMT 31xx) both were offered with the 2.8l inline 4 duramax

In reality the diesel engine on the Chevrolet Cruze wwas a JTD from Fiat. A diesel chevy with a manual and a Fiat engine. 👀
