@_amberinamerica: All I wanted from my appointment yesterday was for him to acknowledge that it sounds like there’s been some sort of error in communication and he’ll look into it and let’s work on getting you better and making sure it doesn’t happen again. An ultrasound tech does the imaging, it’s then passed to a radiologist to write a report and then sent to my OB - plenty of chances for something to be misplaced and I made it clear to my Dr that I am entirely understanding of the fact that mistakes happen. Unfortunately although he admitted that it sounded like I passed the pregnancy tissue Thursday night (48 hours after the ultrasound showed it was there but he told me it wasn’t) for some reason in his mind that doesn’t correlate with the fact that a mistake was made - because this radiologist has 40 years of experience so of course it’s not possible that he might have simply mistyped something 🫠 Anyway, I now have to book another ultrasound and see if everything has really gone this time and then hopefully the Dr will run some tests to see if I have some sort of imbalance that might be causing these losses. I’m having a really bad day today as well, continuing on from this appt yesterday, but I’ll try to show up again tomorrow because it does help.
