We are the only province without our major sports team plates. Canucks, Lions, Whitecaps…. And the yearly fee can go to their charitable organizations

The ontario plate is similar to BC the difference is that it only says Ontario on top and the slogan is where the decal is, and it 4 letters followed by 3 numbers with the Ontario shield that separate it.

I love the BC plate! It’s simple and effective and recognizable. NWT definitely has the coolest design though

IMO North American license plates are very boring and I think it’s because they almost always use these thin weak fonts. Compare to plates in Europe and some Asian countries that have bold strong fonts and very contrasting colour choices that look a lot cooler (to my eyes at least)

fun fact, the letter Y was actually used in pickup truck plates. had a truck with the license plate starting with “VY”

IDK, the flag is the only thing that should change... It's 2025 we don't need the old socred era flag, use our current provincial logo.
