I’ve bought a homemade Golden Fudge layer cake on Etsy. 4 layers, filled with chocolate layers and the icing of course is chocolate fudge. The box said “Refrigerator Upon Opening”. But I hate refrigerating cakes and I’m one of the people who loves a warm moist cake. Even a Entenmans I’d never put in the icebox. So I’m conflicted on what to do for this type of cake. What can I do? As of now it’s not that hot or humid here…..yet.

What i was wondering when I have a fully decorated cake covered in American butter icing but has edible images and fondant decor should I store in the fridge as I’ve read that the image can bleed and the fondant can sweet or it can get condensation on it what would you recommend? Especially on a real hot day?
