Any reputable hairdresser I've ever been to has told me properly bleached / cared for hair won't go green in the pool unless you're completely submerging it daily and not washing it out. Never had this happen to me

Girl it's because you can't go swimming for 2 weeks after having bleach in. You should know that and inform them about that. You don't have to waste money, just wait 2 weeks. Hope this helps ❤️

Chlorine is an alkaline and bleach is an acid so, if they ever come into contact with one another, they’ll neutralise turning the bleached hair green. If you ever want to go into a chlorine pool with newly bleached hair, you can you just have to make sure to wash it thoroughly after. After 2 weeks of getting your hair bleached is when it won’t react to the chlorine so you don’t really need to wash it directly after then.

My hairdresser said this happened to her on holiday and she didn’t have any products… ketchup also works very well apparently 😅

I have half weft hair extensions and they turn orange but my real hair doesn’t? Purple shampoo only works for 1 wash then back orange again once I wash it normally? What can I do please x
