I’m African and if you get knotless make sure that bonnet stay on your head cuz then it will be neat for a good two month and a half. That’s just my experience.

Hellooooooo!! Back when we were younger, you could keep your braids in for like 4 months. They’d even wash it and just re-braid the perimeter. The knot-less braids are cute but not meant for longevity. Also, they adding gel bc they can’t actually braid fr 🫢 sorry not sorry

Mine actually last me 2.5 months literally. I think it just depends on the braider. The traditional knot box braids pulled my hair out. Knottless didn’t. Just do what works for YOU.!

I’ve actually had much better growth and results from knotless than braids with knots. That knot causes too much tension on my hair especially around the perimeter. It depends on your hair what is best for it.
