someone threw a CIGARETTE in our mulch and i was working our drive thru so i had to run out of the restaurant to put it out and thankfully it went out with just a cup of water but oh my god why would you throw your cigarette out there

I mean your thought process is valid. it doesn't make sense for security to wait around to tell a manager there's a fire in the parking lot while stores are open. he also could've told the cashier & the cashier tell you, but he waited, while the fire was still going. that's not ok on his part. even if it was small, that's still not ok. hell, he could've just grabbed the extinguisher himself, but he didn't do that either
