When it’s really bad (I pet sit/walker) we do sniffing games inside. I love looking for hot weather alternative activities or mentally enriching games for dogs.

I got given a cooling mat by a friend here in the UK and it DOES work I just don’t know the brand 😅 but I wouldn’t say it’s good for cooling off a dog after being outside. I only use it when he’s a little over excited/over heated on long train rides tbh. It keeps him chill and calm until we get where we are going. I’d agree about the lifted bed instead 👏
