I’ve seen that a lot of ppl didn’t like the way Chris mentioned Piers in that scene. But Jill didn’t even know who Piers was, and the reason Chris brought him up was to show that he could empathize with her and also that he still hasn’t gotten over Piers... He opened up to Jill in a vulnerable way, without hiding her own pain. And Chris has never been good at expressing his emotions, so even this small scene was deeply touching, especially coming from someone as tough as him 🥲💔
