omg usa is sooo far behind. never ever install drywall horizontally. it will crack. it needs solid studs behind every joint

Impact works great especially on old house. sometimes harder Woods and even true would. zip gun still way faster

It'll still bubble a lil bit w the Kilz. Not to mention u should be using moisture resistant board in a bathroom.

For that Kerdi board if you have a gap where your tile ends before the dry wall starts can you just paint the kerdi board or no?

always prime paper. might not bubble but you are just taking a small step to help ensure it won't bubble

do you put tile on top or you just paint after ? because if you put tile , is there is a problem that is a little torn ?

you gonna slice your fingers using a t-square like that. and use a better knife and cut it harder and it will cut clean like a factory edge.

Butting it up to the other factory edge, then butts it up to tile board lol key word butt. So then it would be a butt joint and coated. Zero issue with some ripped drywall.

ArdfartsMcartsNarts :
If your cuts aren't flat enough to make a butt joint, you might be scoring the paper too deep. you only need to cut the paper and the gypsum will break. This video is still correct, cutting that off is a waste of time and a good finisher won't balk at minor scrapes on the paper.
