I have a cousin that tans on the trampoline because the black and the material its made out of attracts the heat which helps you tan faster. I don't think any of this is backed by science but that's what she tells me.

My dad put baby oil on his back before tanning with my mother on a tar roof in their late teens. Second and third degree burns on the man’s back 😂
