Catholics absolutely used to veil. Certain Protestant Christian’s cover their hair. It’s not unheard of, it’s just uncommon in western countries. People should be allowed to do what suits them and their lifestyle.

Catholics don’t have to use veil since Vatican II, though. And we believe that after Jesus sacrificed himself all the laws of the Old Testament don’t need to be followed anymore. Just Jesus’ teachings, the New Alliance he brought to the world etc etc

i get what you say but 1 corinthian 11 is about women’s and men’s clothing during prayer or in church, so we don’t have to wear it all the time! (i don’t veil at any time because that’s my choice but yeah) but either way i don’t think religion is anyone else’s business whether christian, muslim, jewish or whatever

In that verse, it tells us that we have to cover her head while praying and in the church, but it’s not mandatory outside the church or if we are not praying. you can cover you hair if you want to, but it is not mandatory in order to enter heaven like it is in the Islam. It is mandatory if you’re a nun or anything similar to that.
