@cityoflasvegas: Among one of Las Vegas’ most historic buildings, 201 S. Las Vegas Blvd. was built in 1975 by famed architects Walter Zick & Howard Sharp, who designed many notable buildings in Las Vegas including the Moulin Rouge Hotel, The Mint and Clark and Valley high schools. Originally known as the Nevada Savings and Loan Association Building, the property is located on the corner of Las Vegas Blvd. and Carson Avenue, just one block south of Fremont Street. Dapper Companies has invested nearly $30 million to turn the structure built in 1975 into a dynamic mixed-use hub complete with restaurants, coworking spaces and creative offices. The project has already drawn attention with the opening of @brokenyolkcafe’s first downtown location and the arrival of Woven, a state-of-the-art coworking space built for start-ups and digital nomads. Baguette Cafe has also joined the roster. A rooftop space with a retractable glass roof is still available on the fourth floor 👀 This project signals continued momentum for downtown Las Vegas bringing new energy, foot traffic and entrepreneurial opportunities to the heart of the city. It reflects a growing demand for flexible workspaces and elevated dining while preserving and repurposing a familiar historic building. It’s also a sign of larger investment trends from developers like J Dapper, who is helping shape the next chapter of downtown through projects like The Herbert and the restoration of the Huntridge Theater.
