Jackson is a symbol of white male evil in America. His hatred is in a lot of people’s hearts

He famously disregarded the supreme court’s decision to allow the native Americans to stay on their land and that’s when he forced their removal. Who does that sound like ?

Jackson was a horrible man. He defied the Supreme Court and is responsible for the deaths and continued horrible treatment of the indiginous of this nation. Thanks for this balanced story of this president.

“Jackson's justification for Indian removal was multifaceted. He argued that it was necessary for national security, citing the need to protect white settlers and expand the nation westward. He also presented removal as a benevolent act, claiming it would protect Native Americans from the corrupting influence of white society and allow them to preserve their cultures. However, these justifications masked a deeper agenda of territorial expansion and economic gain, as the land vacated by Native Americans was opened up to white settlement and the expansion of slavery.”

Rated worst president by fake news media which means he was one of best. They did to him what they have done to Trump. Trump put his large painting in the oval office.

To think if he hadn’t commanded the U.S army during the Battle of New Orleans in the War of 1812, he wouldn’t have gotten infamy to eventually become a war hero and win the presidency. Jacksonian politics and the idea of a president appealing to the common folk wouldn’t have happened and American history would be insanely different. Early American history is so fascinating, to think a normal person could rise the ranks in the military and then lead a battle giving him fame comparable to Washington is wild. Especially considering most of the elite in both North and South were descendants of the elite in Britain. Not saying he was a good guy but I think he was the first true American politician. Not giving him just the good parts of politics but the election of 1828 reminds me of the 2016 election, with the tension and heated exchanges

Even though photography existed before his death in 1845, there is no confirmed photo of him taken at age 78 or any age. Historians, museums (like The Hermitage), and major archives all agree on this.
