I love Eldritch horror, particularly if its connected to the deep deep ocean. One of my favourites I've been working on is a "Whale" that sings to a town on the coast. Its definitely not a whale.

My eldritch horror is a city named elledon. It’s not so much a creature, but rather a concept, an idea that is trying to force its way into reality by any means. Repeating symbols or architecture across different cultures. It yearns to exist, to grow, to expand.

I think a good example of unique cosmic horror is The Hiss from the game CONTROL, which is infectious sentient sound that warps its victims and turns them into physical sound beings in human shape that disperse in sound waves when dealt with
