Yeah chicken hand should only touch chicken. But also I think people worry way too much about chicken on surfaces. You definitely don’t want to eat undercooked chicken, but a little splatter here or there won’t amount to much.

salmonella don't even really be in chicken fr, it's just a just in case type deal. More commonly there are parasites and bacteria on it, of which are harmless if it doesn't go in your mouth. so it doesn't matter if the chicken touches the sink or counter, if you clean your kitchen after cooking like you should be doing anyway you'll be aight
