Get a PT or OT consult, even with the helmet he still needs support for the neck rigidness/torticollis to prevent motor delays. Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) is a great option! 😊

My son had torticollis. We had to do physical therapy once a week for around 3 months. It was fixed and we avoided the helmet. You need to fix his torticollis otherwise he won’t meet milestones. The head and neck are the basis for all of their movements like rolling, sitting, etc. Your baby is beautiful ❤️

Why is it so prevalent in th USA? In Serbia, I have never heard of any baby that wore a helmet. Just PT and tummy time.

We did the helmet for my daughter when she was around the same age as your son. She had it on for seven weeks, and she handled it better than I did, lol! So glad we did it!

We have been seeing a chiropractor for my baby's torticollis and it has helped tremendously! his Neurosurgeon who agreed that he needed a helmet said she wouldnt have ever knows he had torticollis! hr does still have to have a helmet because he was vacuumed out twice during my c-section and had 2 hematomas causing his head to not full be able to shape correctly 😭

My son visited a chiropractor once a week since his 1st month because of a torticolis and it work miracles. I kept the visits until he was walking but by then every other week. I recommend if it’s the case

Have you done physical therapy? My son has left neck torticollis and we did PT and ended up not needing a helmet because the exercises helped reshape his head
