But for us, we have a little system that just works. I decide the type of cuisine—whether I’m craving Japanese, Korean, Italian, or American. Then he chooses the restaurant. After that, he’ll ask me if I’m okay with his pick. If I say yes, he immediately makes a reservation. I’ve honestly never seen him go to a restaurant without one—unless it’s one of my sudden cravings. 🤣 He doesn't like to see me waiting or falling in line. At the restaurant, I usually let him decide what to order. He’s really good at choosing delicious food, the menu is in Japanese, and of course… he’s the one paying. 🤣 But if I want to add something, he’s totally fine with it—he’s even happy when I choose more. It’s a simple routine, but it’s one of the things that keeps our relationship fun and balanced. We don’t put all the pressure on one person. We both decide, we both give—and for almost 10 years, it’s been working for us. So bottom line? Don’t take away each other’s freedom and voice—lalo na sa guys, mas okay for them when they still feel they have the right to decide on something. Girls, alam ko gusto natin lagi tayo nasusunod. Hanapan mo ng paraan na may say ka pa rin, pero hindi natin inaalisan ng karapatan magdecide ang asawa/jowa natin. Always be ready to compromise. That’s how a relationship truly works. By the way.
