I love spinning my saber staff around but it was tricky at first 💔 but here’s some advice on how to get good at spinning!! Before you start make sure you’re in a safe open space and hold the saber near the center with a relaxed grip. Start with the basic forward spin by rotating the saber horizontally like a helicopter using your wrists not your arms. Next try the figure 8 spin by moving the saber in a smooth sideways “8” motion in front of your body. Think of it as drawing an 8 with the lightsaber!! Once comfortable, progress to a behind the back spin by guiding the saber around your back mid spin. For flashier moves practice palm rolls by letting the saber roll over the back of your hand and catching it again (though it is really hard and I myself haven’t perfected it) Practice slowly, stay relaxed, and focus on fluid motion!! If you did this constantly you should be able to do some cool fast spins within a week or two
