@thegypsysole: Before-and-afters are the easiest way to show Cody’s progress, but I couldn’t do justice to today’s therapy session in a video and trust me, I tried! I don’t know how to tell you in words either because we were speechless, Maria and I. We exchanged a record number of shocked and confused looks with each other. After his session, I said, “Maria, what was that?!” “I don’t know. Really, I don’t know. I never see this. He do things for the first time, and he do them very quickly and he look…normal,” Maria said. In the very beginning days when he was still in the hospital, we would get a message almost daily from various friends and family members who would tell us they had a dream about Cody walking again. In almost every dream shared with us, he got up and walked seemingly out of no where. And I don’t know. It’s starting to feel like those dreams weren’t random. #spinalcordinjury
