I had both eyes done recently and the sedation was so light I didn’t feel as if I was given any. Thankfully, I don’t mind things in or near my eyes.

I got told off twice for moving, the consultant said why are you moving when I have a knife in your eye - because I can see you cutting my eye!!!! My other eye next week, terrified. They don’t do sedation either, I asked

The first one is not too bad, when I got the 2nd 2 weeks later, I was anticipating and felt a little uncomfortable pressure. Overall not too bad.

I am waiting to get mine done and doctor said they will put me out for it because my eye will slam shut with the tool the use to hold eye open with for surgery .

When the anethsetic doesn’t work and you say you can feel it and your told you can feel it. It is horrendous wasn’t sedated.

I had it done 2 weeks ago they only gave me happy juice which is drugs thru IV 🤣 not sure why they name it 🤣anyway the drugs yes helps you relax but still feel the pain but its not painful hard to explain but I guess just me ...

I did great with the 1st one but the 2nd one hurt. Doc said I was young and it was like a gummy bear and ut started getting sore. not being able to see my brain was going crazy. So glad it's done though
