Z is not canon, but oda was an executive producer on the film. He approved of Sanji doing that. It isn’t out of character.

Out of a million women, he would choose Nami and help her first. It annoys me that people ignore a caring man and prefer others instead of Sanji. Nami deserves a loving husband, not someone who will do anything for her. And Sanji is exactly that. Spread this information because I believe it is the only fact across all canons. A normal girl would choose him because he genuinely cares for his partner. Some may say Sanji is a womanizer, but that's not true. He won't pay attention to anyone else if he has someone with whom he can spend his entire life. I don't care how fans of other pairings react because those are just meaningless pairings that don't actually care about Nami as a woman. Spread this information because it’s starting to irritate me. Oda shouldn't have added Sanji at all because it's unstoppable now. A person who falls in love will protect their queen until the end. But if Oda removes Sanji's love for Nami and their potential relationship in the end, he will just break the very essence of love. Luffy deserves his reward in "One Piece," just as Sanji deserves a relationship with Nami. Spread this to all "One Piece" fans because it really frustrates me
