It’s disgraceful that US Youth Soccer allows and seems to be okay with blatant racism from the Louisiana team against the Texas team — a team made up mostly of Latino and Black players — covering up not just the Louisiana team racism, but also that of the parents. By ignoring this, the association, coaches, and parents are teaching these kids that hate and racism are acceptable. This is a complete betrayal of the values youth sports are supposed to stand for.
