I was 5 years old watching my two baby brothers three and one and when they started kindergarten I was walking them back and forth from school and had a key to my house at 5 years old and was cooking dinner was a latchkey kid. but you can't do that with kids today they're not as mature and things are a lot different. and just like the cop said and the other video it depends on the kids maturity and if they're actually awake and stuff but nobody should be leaving there 5-year-old and 3-year-old at home alone to even walk across the street for 20 minutes unless they have eyes on their door the whole time because this little boy is clearly your mama's boy and went to go look for his mom half naked cuz he was scared she wasn't there and this could have ended up a whole lot different especially being off military trail I used to live in that exact neighborhood and boy has that neighborhood went downhill from when I lived there and military trail is super busy and Florida don't play when it comes to charges and kids Florida don't play at all they'll throw the book at you for jaywalking
