Smart money hiding their moves. Of you look only on volume profile you see only place where volume increase. For example smart money opening huge long orders only for move price higher and execute their also huge short orders on the top. When they are closing longs with execute shorts you see sharp downward movement called liquidity sweep by some people but place on chart with this volume spike was only manipulation to hide real move coming.

they just need enough to fill orders dosen't matter if it's low volume. Also a big order can eat all does other orders up. It's just where a lot of people exit or enter and that makes it a point where market wants to reverse. Also absorption plays also a role...

In short major liquidity is where major money is entering the market. There are a very few people who enter at swing points, therefore liquidity is in between those 2 points, just as the Volume profile showed
