@lawanarichmond: San Diego is where we started, and now 7 years later we are proud to present the 8th Annual Afrofuturism Lounge, an immersive and interactive experience highlighting arts, science, and innovation at the Fleet Science Center in San Diego on the first night of San Diego Comic Con. On the album Purple Rain, on the song ‘Let’s Go Crazy’, the immortal Prince said, “Instead of asking him How much of ur time is left Ask him how much of ur mind, baby Cuz N this life Things R much harder Than N the afterworld” so the theme for this year is “Minds Over Matters” and features art by the legendary John Jennings. Be sure to check us out this year. Afrofuturismlounge.com #afrofuturism #SDCC2025 #sanctuary #Blackness #comix #hiphop #arts
