4'0 off set circle hook is key, try not to use an inline circle as a Barra smashes from the side and front of the mullet, then use dacron or a cable tie(tie down) through the eyes and connect your hook to that. when i was in Australia that incresed our catch ratio. We use the same technique for mulloway here in South Africa.
