I appreciate the innovation, but i think everybody just uses a pneumatic or electric finishing nailer and wire brads. Much faster and it’s easy to cover the holes before painting.

Haters stop hating a fresh idea on an old technique. Fabulous!! I would do this in a heartbeat as you could always install a conventional nail as needed down the road.
