The message you spread is good, I agree with that. However, we are no longer under the law. Please read Romans, especially chapter 7. Paul explains it all. We are no dead to the law so that we can follow Christ. Also, not all things are sin, most secular things can lead to sin, but it is about the relationship we have with Christ. I am convicted, there's things I have to give up, however, not everything is sin.

I used to have the same mindset because I was raised that way and @it seemed so right but inside I knew I had no true relationship with God..personally it lead to bitterness,hardening my heart and being fake ...till I started opening my true feelings and desires to God Many teachers lean into legalism (strict rules to measure holiness). These things have an appearance of wisdom, but they lack any value in restraining indulgence.” Colossians 2:20-23 ⚡ True holiness comes from the inside out =a heart surrendered to the Holy Spirit Use the holyspirit as a guide when reading the word ... YES Football can be idolatry, if we put our all in it. but the bible doesn't say it is a sin, The Bible actually says we can enjoy earthly things WHILE loving God more. I recommend you to read (1 Corinthians 7:31, 10:31).
