@carlo_the_barber: 14 years in this game has taught me a lot about owning a business, building a fully booked client base in 2 different towns, training staff, building relationships. This is the golden rule for building a client base. Never look at a client as a transaction. It’s a life long relationship you are trying to make. You can do a haircut and get a one time payment from them or you can build trust with that customer which will go on for years. A walk in today could be a customer for life so never just squeeze someone in to earn a quick bit of money, take your time, get to know them, make them feel valued. There’s a million other barbers they can choose from, WHY YOU? 🫡
